The last standoff was to get through the New York metro tunnels and destroy zombies. A plague of a horrible virus turned most inhabitants of the planet into zombies. Most of them were moved to underground tunnels. You are going to find yourself in a new world. Join army or free stalkers. It's possible to get new locations in the metro. It's possible to destroy a person with an assault rifle, shotgun or other weapon.
